Let me try this again.
Rudder install...
I removed the clamp and shoe securing the rudder by drilling out the bronze pins and punching them out. I'd like to think I can replace the pins with stainless bolts or bronze bolts; but I am looking for feedback. The clamp is stainless, so stainless hardware should work, yes? As for the shoe, it appears to be bronze. Must I pin it with bronze? Can I use bolts?
