Closed Cell Foam versus Block of Foam
No formed foam you use either poured or block and cut it to fit. Your call but it has to fill as many square inches as possible.

Zeke

I am replacing the foam inside the cubby cabin in my Pearson Ensign. This foam is soaked and will need replacement, but i wasn't sure if there were already formed foam or if I should pour the closed cell foam in the space once we rebuild the decking inside after replacing the mast step. I've been looking for repair videos on this information. However, I always find that they skip a step.

Insight appreciated.
