Spinnaker pole mast ring
Hi Sandy,

I think a reasonable option if you don’t have a preexisting track for the spinnaker pole ring, a simple alternative would be to mount just a high ring and a lower ring. Although not nearly as critical as a track, I’ve seen other boats use it with great success (just decide at the set which height you want, can always change the ring if the conditions change).

They are readily available and easy to mount.

Sandy,

There is a mast diagram on the class website detailing track location from the mast butt up to bottom of track and topping lift block height(near spreaders)

Hope this helps.

Jeff

You should have the ring on a sliding track mounted to the forward edge of your mast. The ring can be adjusted up and down the track as conditions warrant for the mast end of the pole. The topping lift block should be at least a foot or two above the top end of the track.

I am rigging my Ensign for a spinnaker.

Can someone tell me the height of the pole mount ring on the mast?

Also the height of the topping lift block on the mast?

Thank you.

Sandy
