Built in 1966, owned since 2007. In excellent condition and race ready. Major maintenance done by Waterline Works: Soft areas in deck re-cored, all hardware removed, all penetrations filled and redrilled and deck painted with Awlgrip white and Awlgrip cream with Griptex. Cockpit painted with Brightside white enamel in 2020; cabin top painted in 2026. Bottom painted with three coats of VC Offshore in 2022. Touched up in 2026. New rudder installed in 2022. Owner maintenance: Cabin sole rebuilt 2020. Installed all new white oak stringers, added a 6th stringer forward of rudder post, coated stringers with Interlux-InterProtect 2000E & 2001E. Teak floorboards reinstalled with silicone bronze screws. Teak seats rebuilt & re-installed. New varnish on shelf trim, traveler trim, cabin top trim and tiller. Electric panel with switches for bilge pump, LED running lights and cabin light. Vinyl bunk cushions, boat hook, boat cushions, two wood paddles, stainless steel mast bracket for Speed Puck, Danforth anchor with chain and 50’ nylon anchor line wood document box and Ensign Class burgee. Cabin top blade winches with blade tracks in new Ensign Class position. New forestay and backstay with 6:1 control line and safety cable. New main wire-to-line halyard with bead lock on mast, new jib and spinnaker halyards. Harken windward sheeting traveler. Main sheet with Oxen block. Sheets for blade and #1 genoa and tapered spinnaker sheets. National Competition: Mid-Winters: 2014– 5th; 2017- 4th; 2025-2nd; 2026-2nd. Nationals: 2015- 20th, winner of mid fleet trophy (40 boats); 2017 – 5th; 2018 – 8th; 2019 – 6th; 2021 - 12th.
