Bob and I have been in touch and between the two of us please consider the boat spoken for.

Bob is in communication with others in his attempt to build an Ensign fleet in Sayeville, NY and if that effort falls through, I intend to fix up the boat in an effort to grow Fleet 63 on Barnegat Bay.

Would you have some pictures? Close-ups are best in determining the condition for the best way to move forward. 
What I can do is put a notice out on it and see if we get someone close that can use it. I can help get the 2 parties together. 
I determine a reasonable price and we give you a tax estimate that you can submit with your taxes as a charitable donation.
What's your phone number and when would be a good time to talk?

It's on lake Champlain, Willsboro, NY. No trailer. It sits on a flat trailer, in a cradle. Not road worthy in my opinion.

Zeke, I am thinking about donating my Ensign. Frankly I tried selling it, and it turns out that the amount of cosmetic work needed, makes it undesirable to most potential buyers.

I have not been able to keep up with the maintanence  things I used to do.

Boat is sound, sails pretty well. Has 2 older mains, 3 genoa's including a mylar. Storm jib, spinnaker, and all the usual peripheral things. Includes an older 5 hp yamaha outboard, recently rebuilt.

How would I go about the donation process?

This message is a call to all. Fleet 23 has requested a donated boat. They have a need for a Ensign to rehab or add to their fleet. As you may know the ECA has a donation program that we find homes for wayward boats. You can get an in-kind tax benefit if you have a boat that can be donated.
